Full Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for an Admin & Clerical person to join the Patient Flow Team based in the grounds of Southport Hospital. This a part time 22.5 hrs fixed term position and the working hours are Monday - Friday 9.15 - 2.30 mon - Fri.,

  • The successful candidate will be required to possess good knowledge of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Monitoring the Teams inbox on a daily basis
  • Uploading Referrals on a daily basis
  • Answering the telephone and escalating messages to team members
  • Liaising with care homes & hospitals including passing on patients confidential information.
  • Using EMIS for patients documents retrieval
  • Printing, Scanning and photocopying
  • Stationery Orders
  • Attending Team Huddles
  • Any Ad-Hoc Admin Duties, The successful applicant will need to have knowledge and be familiar with Microsoft Office. Previous experience of working in an office environment, data input skills and the ability to priorities own workload and work to defined timescales. Previous experience within a health care environment would be desirable.

    This is a busy role so we are looking for a flexible enthusiastic team player with good interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner. Somebody who works well under pressure, understands the importance of prioritising their own workload to meet deadlines whilst working independently and part of busy team
