Risk and Governance Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Walton Centres Risk and Governance Team to support with all aspects of the Risk and Governance workplan but more specifically supporting the Trusts Risk Manager to ensure the Trusts Risk and Governance processes and systems are followed and fully embedded across the Trust., The successful candidate will support with providing comprehensive administrative support to the Risk & Governance Team, specifically the Trusts Risk Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and coordination of various meetings which fall under the remit of Risk & Governance team.
The successful candidate will monitor the Trust incident management system (Datix). Providing various reports as required.

This role requires excellent administrative, verbal and written communication skills together with attention to detail and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. The post holder will communicate with a range of stakeholders from across the Trust and externally, about complex Governance topics and will therefore need to be able to use a range of communication skills including empathy, persuasion, tact, negotiation and influencing.
