At mhs homes we manage three Foyers in Medway, providing housing and support services to young adults aged 1625-with challenging and complex behaviours.   • The Role You'll provide overnight cover at our young person's Foyers. Working a 12 hour shift patten (8pm 8am), three days on, six days off (with potential for additional shifts), providing a high quality and responsive concierge service in conjunction with the Support Officers and Scheme Manager.,
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the young adults living at the Foyers
  • Be the first point of call for advice and security when support officers aren't on site.
  • Manage the building overnight and at weekends, monitoring access to the building and handled out of ours security.
  • Deal with concerns, resolving them at the first point of contact wherever possible.
  • Resolve out of hours issues using de-escalation skills where appropriate.

    Experience working with young people with complex support needs.
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits.
  • Understanding of lone working principles.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check, with satisfactory references and medical fitness confirmation.

    Waking Night Shift Pattern
  • Twelve hour shifts
  • Three days on, six days off with option for additional shifts across our Foyers, A performance based annual bonus + pension contributions matched up to 6%
